Caught in the national housing slump/crash that hit southwest Florida especially hard, we did not sell our house and did not relocate to Tallahassee even though I worked there 16 months.  The silver lining is that I was offered a great job back in Fort Myers which, with the support and blessing of my bosses at FDOT, I accepted and started in April. While I miss Tallahassee and really enjoyed the work there, it is good to be home and I also really enjoy the new work, too. 

I have no idea if any of my family and friends ever read this, so if you do, please let me know.

Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year! We appreciate hearing from you (or would like to hear from you). A few of our highlights this past year include Lupe working part-time at Planet Hair; DJ achieved the rank Eagle Scout, graduated from high school with a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.1, formed a band, works part-time and plans to start college this year; Janell is a busy Senior, involved in student government, studying hard and already accepted in at least one university. We took a cross-country road trip last summer enjoying a few quick family visits along the way, Yellowstone National Park, and a week in San Diego. In November, I accepted a new job (transfer/promotion, still with FDOT) in Tallahassee. Our address is the same for now, but will change once we sell our house and relocate. Warmest best wishes,
